Námskeið í innihaldsgreiningu gagna (Content analysis)

Hinn 24. júní næstkomandi mun Cristina Bodinger-deUriarte, prófessor í félagsfræði við California State University í Los Angeles, halda námskeið fyrir doktorsnema í innihaldsgreiningu gagna eða Content analysis. Cristina hélt sambærilegt námskeið fyrir doktorsnemendur í HÍ fyrir fjórum árum. Vegna almennrar ánægju með það námskeið var ákveðið að fá Cristinu til að halda námskeiðið aftur. Gunnar Valgeirsson, sem einnig er kennari við sama háskóla, mun aðstoða við kennsluna.

Námskeiðið verður metið til  2ECTS.

Agenda for the full day workshop with lunch break - the workshop consists of brief lecture modules, concrete examples and materials, discussion, an assignment, debriefing and revision assignment.

There will be pre-workshop reading assigned - these will be provided as pdfs & word-documents advance.

There will be a set of materials to use in the workshop that I will provide as word-documents.

There will be a content analysis assignment to be worked on over lunch and debriefed after lunch. I will provide the CA materials for the assignment as e-documents.

A brief follow-up lecture follows.

The assignment will then be revised in small groups, based on the debriefing and follow-up lecture.
